- Humidity: Maintain moderate humidity (50–60%) with a distinct moisture gradient.
- Ventilation: Ensure moderate airflow to prevent stagnant air and mold.

- Substrate: Layer 2–3 inches of organic soil mixed with chopped leaves and rotten wood.
- Moisture Gradient: Keep one side damp with sphagnum moss and the other side completely dry.
- Shelter: Provide plenty of cork bark and flat pieces of wood for hiding spots.

Shipping:
We ship Monday - Wednesday to avoid any shipments being held over weekend.
If you purchase from more than one seller, you’ll see separate shipping charges for each.
Each seller ships independently, shipping is calculated per seller:

Weather and temperature requirements for LAG:
* If temperatures are below 40°F and above 90°F, we reserve the right to delay shipping your order until it is safe to ship your critters.
*If your area’s temperatures are below 40°F and above 90°F, your order will be shipped and held at your local FedEx facility via “Hold For Pickup.” We will not ship to your home if temperatures are below 40°F and above 90°F.
*You will be notified when your order is shipped via Isopod Keepers website. Please be sure to check your email for tracking information. Please ensure the name on the order matches the name on the ID of the person who will be picking it up.
Live Arrival Guarantee:
*FedEx only. LAG (Live Arrival Guarantee) only with FedEx overnight or 2 day. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND HOLD FOR PICKUP AT FEDEX HUB. This is to ensure the safety of your Isopods. We always pack with Cryos/Heatpacks/Gel Packs when necessary.
*LAG for Home deliveries ONLY if box is brought inside immediately after delivery. You have 30 min to let me know the box is inside and then 1 hr to send photos of any DOA.
*All orders must be picked up from FedEx hub the same day of delivery for LAG to apply and within 2 hours of confirmed delivery.
*If you are not able to immediately receive your order, hold at the closest FedEx hub is the best shipping option. If using Hold For Pickup, please include a phone number and email in your shipping notes.
Live Arrival Guarantee Requirements:
* Clear photo/video evidence of DOA (Dead on Arrival) animals must be provided the same day of delivery and within 2 hours of delivery.
* LAG covers only the number of animals purchased. Any extras or overcounts included in your shipment are not covered.
*Freebie pods/pedes are not covered under LAG.
*DOA REPLACEMENT SHIPPING COST ARE NOT COVERED. You will need to pay the cost of shipping for your replacements or we can add the replacements to your next order.
Refund Policy
All sales are final, no refunds or replacements unless there's a DOA (Dead on arrival) with proof via photo or video.
