We are a husband and wife business located in Central Kentucky. What started with a project for a vampire crab paludarium has grown into much much more. Before we got our vampire crabs we did a lot of research focused on bioactive setups to help with the overall cleanliness and health of the environment.
Little did we know that dwarf white isopods and tropical springtails were the beginning of something else entirely. What started as a bioactive cleanup crew led to the discovery of the famous “Rubber Ducky” isopods and a rabbit hole we are still navigating! We now have almost 90 species of isopods with a healthy thirst for more!
As our collections have grown so have their numbers. Combined with the many clippings of plants from our paludarium that have turned into a considerable plant hobby as well, and a love for 3D printing, we decided it was time to share our passion with others! We are now in the process of our go live and look forward to sharing our passion with like minded individuals.
We look forward to sharing our isopods, plants, 3D prints and whatever else comes our way with this community along with any and all knowledge we have gained. If you have any questions, suggestions, or just want to chat feel free to reach out anytime and we will gladly get back to you as soon as possible.
