LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE (LAG) — HOLD FOR PICKUP ONLY
By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the policies below.
Shipping Options
FedEx 2‑Day or FedEx Overnight are available. Live Arrival Guarantee applies ONLY when the shipment is sent Hold for Pickup to an official FedEx Hub.
Hold for Pickup — Required for LAG
- LAG is valid only for orders shipped Hold for Pickup to an official FedEx Hub.
- If no Hold for Pickup location is given at checkout, your order will ship to your address without Live Arrival Guarantee.
- Walgreens, Dollar General, and similar retail stores are not valid Hold for Pickup locations.
- All Hold for Pickup orders must be picked up the same day they arrive.
- Issues must be reported the same day of arrival with clear photo/video evidence.
FedEx 2‑Day
- FedEx 2‑Day shipments must be sent Hold for Pickup to qualify for LAG.
- Home delivery is not covered under LAG for any FedEx 2‑Day shipment.
FedEx Overnight
- FedEx Overnight shipments must be sent Hold for Pickup to qualify for LAG.
- Home delivery via FedEx Overnight does not qualify for LAG.
LAG Requirements
- All claims must include clear photo/video evidence taken on the day of arrival.
- Overcounts may be included, but LAG covers only the purchased quantity.
ADDITIONAL POLICY DETAILS
Shipping Schedule
- Live animals ship Monday and Tuesday only.
- Orders placed Tuesday ship the following Monday.
- This schedule ensures safe transit and reduces carrier delays.
Weather & Temperature Requirements
- LAG is valid only when destination temperatures are 40°F–90°F (unless otherwise noted).
- We may delay shipping during unsafe weather conditions.
- Heat/cold packs are included at no extra cost when necessary.
Evidence Requirements
To qualify for LAG:
- Provide clear photo/video evidence of DOA animals.
- Evidence must be submitted the same day for all Hold for Pickup orders (LAG does not apply to home delivery).
Incorrect Address
- LAG is void if an incorrect or incomplete shipping address is provided.
- We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
Overcounts
- Many live invertebrates ship with an overcount.
- LAG covers only the purchased quantity, not extras.
