Hi! My name is Austin and I started my isopod journey in December of 2025. So you could say I’m fairly new to the hobby!

I took a quick interest in isopods when my wife introduced them to me as a clean up crew for our bioactive reptile enclosures. At first it took me off guard and thought to myself  “who would want to collect bugs?” and now here I am haha.

Fast forward to January of 2026, I expanded my collection to over 50 species. Now currently in March of 2026, I have over 100 species. So I am not only a breeder & seller but I am truly a passionate hobbyist for these tiny creatures!

Although I am still learning isopods to this day, I am always willing to help those who are new to the community / hobby and share my collection! Thank you for supporting Under Bark and thank you for coming to support Isopod Keepers! Enjoy your stay.
